Simple, Smart Screening Guidance

Salary: £55,000–£65,000

About the Role:
At the core of Candii’s operations, you will oversee legal and regulatory compliance across all screening services, ensuring UK standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Develop and update compliance policies for DBS, right-to-work, credit, and adverse media checks.
    •    Monitor regulatory changes (FCA, Data Protection Act, Equality Act, etc.) and drive cross-functional alignment.
    •    Train staff and clients on compliance protocols and best practices.
    •    Conduct periodic audits and ensure robust documentation and record-keeping.
    •    Engage with regulators and lead internal investigations or escalations.
    •    Report on compliance metrics and risk to senior leadership.

Ideal Candidate:
    •    3–5+ years in compliance—preferably in screening, financial services, or HR sectors.
    •    Solid knowledge of UK regulations: DBS, data privacy (GDPR), AML/KYC, Equality Act.
    •    Strong project management and process design skills.
    •    Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
    •    Professional qualifications (CISI, ICA) or equivalent experience preferred.
